This is bullshit. Why didn't they just call me and ask me to pay for repairs, instead of making me wait three weeks for nothing? Here I thought for once Microsoft wasn't going to let me down. Boy was I wrong.

so when do they replace the box at their own expense????

i wouldn't buy anymore microsoft gaming products anymore if i were you. They don't have a strong customer service or a strong make-customer-happy program :/

Ironically, the guy was very helpful over the phone. I think it's because the machine was refurbished before I bought it, though I'm pretty sure I told them that on the phone. :\

Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 is the thing with the best online play, which is needed for playing with my boyfriend. So, I'm kinda stuck with it. And I do like it...but damn, stupid fine-print shit. :|

I'm sure it probably had a 30-day or 90-day warranty, rather than a 12-month warranty...it's been longer than that, though.
