Okay, so, at the moment I have this online math class. It's been steadily more retarded, but today really takes the cake. I go to check what assignments we have this weekend, and...

Notice how it says I have to answer three discussion questions. Well...

My ten-year-old brother just sleepwalked into my room. I kind of jerked, since he startled me, and he sort of shuddered (apparently he woke up) and looked awfully confused. "Bryce? What are you doing?" "I...I don't know." "Were you sleepwalking?" "I guess so...something..." "Okay, well, go back to bed, okay buddy?" And he just sort of stumbled off. Poor kid. I bet that was disorienting as all hell. Hopefully he'll grow out of it, though.

Just got hit with the sudden urge to do some creative writing. What the crap? That's ass-backwards, that is.

I have a feeling this inspiration is going to go to waste though. It's 4am, I need to finish my one English assignment before 5am, and then I'll probably pass out, since I have work tomorrow. If I'm lucky, it'll stay with me through sleep. But I doubt I'll be that lucky.

Having a 'real life' is just a creativity-killer.

I made a short video of my praying mantis with my mom's camera. :D I tried taking some pictures too, but it didn't want to cooperate...either they were blurry or too dark/bright. I'll try again tomorrow or something.

Anyway, take a look. Isn't she a pretty thing? I've named her Delphi...the name was Seph's idea. :3

Art Jam

So I wanted to participate in Tigermond's Art Jam thing on DA. Struggling a bit to get it done, as I have other issues to worry about, but whatever. I decided to draw a faun, since I really like fauns. :D

Here's a glimpse of it...fullview is hidden behind an LJ-cut, due to it containing nudity and being somewhat large.

Title of this picture will be "Innocence".

Comments/critiques appreciated. It was sketched traditionally and I'm colouring it in Photoshop, and already started laying on the colours, so I don't want to change anything major, but if anyone sees anything minor that can be changed to make him look better, do tell. I've already changed his freaky eyes, haha.

In other news, I caught a large praying mantis yesterday. I brought her in and put her in our plant enclosure because it was so cold and windy outside, I figured she would die otherwise. I'm assuming she's female due to her size. Seems my mom is going to let me keep her. :3 Photos of her coming soon, hopefully.

Whoa, I came to update and decided to delete some userpics first, and I found this userpic of a random blue dragon. Wtf? It had replaced my "This is low budget artwork" one. Really bizarre. O_o So I re-uploaded the low budget art one...

And now I can't remember what I was going to write here in the first place. Guess I'll go lie down for a bit or something. Wish my laptop would STOP MAKING WEIRD NOISES. Sounds like the fan is in overdrive or something, which makes no sense at all since all I'm running is MSN, Firefox (9 tabs), and WMP, and I have a laptop cooling plate thinger. So wtf, laptop? SHUT UP, SRSLY. 8|

... Holy shit. Right after I typed that, my laptop STOPPED DOING IT. Freaky. o.o

I think a real update will have to come later. Sometime soon I plan on doing an art update...really! I just need to get around to scanning my shit. The next non-art update I will discuss something rather important though, so I hope everyone reads it. D:
